SEASIDE, Ore. (KATU) — Hundreds of Corgis stormed the Oregon coast for their annual Corgi Beach Takeover on Saturday. The short-legged furry friends gathered at Seaside, Ore., in an event sponsored by the Oregon Humane Society. It was impossible to walk along the beach without seeing one of the cute dogs run by. Corgis and their owners participated in costume contests, raffles, and Corgi races. Corgi owners tell KATU News it was a quiet car ride home after how hard these pups played today.

The four candidates met and spoke at a candidate forum held last week at John Jay High School by members of the district's Parent Council, video shows. RALSTON, Omaha (CelebrityAccess) — It will get a little more expensive to eat out in Ralston this weekend due to a tax to help pay for the city's arena. The new restaurant tax, which adds 2.5% to the cost of food and beverages, goes into effect in the city on Sunday and city officials estimate that the tax will generate $350,000 annually from the city’s 26 restaurants according to the Omaha World-Herald.
