MURFREESBORO, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Former Kiss guitarist Vinnie Vincent, AKA Vinnie Cusano was arrested on Sunday in Tennessee, being accused of allegedly battering his wife.
According to police reports 44-year-old Diane Cusano was bleeding and allegedly smelled of alcohol when she drove herself to the local sheriff's office following the alleged fight with the 58-year-old Cusano. Diane Cusano alleges that Vincent hit her in the face, threw her to the ground and dragged her through broken glass dishes on the ground during a dispute.
While investigating the matter, police allegedly discovered the bodies of four deceased dogs in plastic storage containers, and according to local news reports, Diane Cusano claimed that the dogs had been killed by another dog on the property. Police investigated Vincent Cusano on potential animal cruelty charges but have since declined to press charges on the matter.
Cusano replaced founding KISS guitarist Ace Frehly in 1982 and performed with the band on "Creatures Of The Night" and "Lick It Up" and their respective tours before leaving the group in 2004. Subsequently, he launched a solo career with the 1985 album "The Vinnie Vincent Invasion." Since then, Cusano has been involved in litigation on several different occassions with his former KISS bandmates over royalties and the rights to use his image. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
